Danny and I want to go to this so bad…Star Wars Celebration

We’re already dreaming up what costumes we would wear. He says Jedi, I say Princess Leia. Now we just need to save our pennies.

What if you walked the dogs at night…by moonlight…with bright stars.
What if your children suddenly grow and become bodies you don’t recognize at the grocery store.
What if you come home from vacation hopelessly addicted to Cheez-its.
What if the pint of raspberries you bought only lasts five minutes.
What if you have sandwiches for dinner.
What if you smile.
What if you know there’s more to do.
What if there’s more to do than you even know there’s more to do.
What if tomorrow comes too early.
What if coffee helps.
What if cleaning your room and wiping down the bathroom was the last thing you did.
What if it wasn’t.
What if it’s all so awesome.
What if it quietly settles into silence.
What if it changes to something else.

After work and set painting, we decided a bite to eat at Panera Bread would do the trick quite nicely. Well wouldn’t you know Old Navy’s right next door and Danny was promised a new outfit for his birthday…..so along with his new outfit and a new hat, Cory got new pants and I got two t-shirts on clearance and (Finally) a new bathing suit. Not too shabby.

Dog and Despair

This morning we discovered our duck, Dog had died. Some animal attacked her. Poor Dog. She was such a good Mama Duck. We’ll miss her quack and her funny top hat. (She was part Crested) Sigh.
