We used to do ballet warm ups to this song.

We’re not big t.v. watchers around here. Firstly because we don’t have cable. Secondly because we have so much other stuff in the world to do besides watch t.v., (like write about the t.v. shows we do or do not watch.) However, from time to time we find a show we like and we watch- online. This time our family favorite is a show called Glee. We’re super into musicals- for sure. So a musical comedy t.v. show, well that’s what we would call Awesome!

We had our first show tonight- technically they call it preview night for family and friends, but we were in front of a full audience. Across the board, we here at Wats-Co agree, it was a fun time! Brian was awesome. Cory and Danny were amazing. I looked beautiful in my costume. It was a blast. Now we only have to do it ten more times.

The Watsons! Well except for Cory, he’s brown and blond-brown (we had a failed hair dying experience- his hair didn’t change color). And Brian is red-ish and brown excepting on show nights when we spray his hair black. We got spray tanned for the show. We look tan! It’s a first for some of us. It actually looks really good. It’s interesting to watch the spray tan going on- it’s just a spray of brown and voila! you’re a different color. Very nice.

Now if you’re in the Citrus County area any time soon you should get yourself some tickets to the King and I, if for nothing else to see us awesome and tan….and Brian in a man-skirt. Sexy!

I know! Yes, we’re going to Sea World. We’re going to ride rides. Stand in line. Watch crappy shows. Make snarky remarks about how Disney would have done it better. Eat popcorn. Complain about belly ache. Make snarkier remarks about the “Killer Whale” show. Oh yes, we’ll go there….quietly. It’s going to be great. I’m not even going to take my camera. That’s how wonderfully ordinary tomorrow is going to be. Woohoo!!!!!!

But most importantly, we’re going to have Chipotle for lunch. It’s my fav! Hands down.

Sunday, (however) we’re all costumes…because we’re taping the show. I am very excited….to see my awesome people doing their awesome thing on tape. I still wish I was a backstage person, but….I am what I am…….and I am going to Sea World tomorrow. Yes! Woohoo!

Awesome!

We’re followers, or perhaps I should say, subscribers to our local Freecycle. We’ve given stuff away and we’re always keeping our eye out for things we might need or enjoy. Sometimes the things we’ve gotten have been great, like our picnic basket. We love it and use it. Or our ducks. Other things have been not so great like our pool that exploded or the exercise bike that didn’t work. But today was by far one of the better days, because we came home with a van full of shit. Literally. Sue, over at Rockin’ Horse Retirement was offering up some manure. We asked for it, and we received! It’s the finest looking shit I’ve seen since….well I’ve never seen nicer shit. And I’ve seen some shit. Now I’m just gratuitously using the word shit….ha ha ha.

All that crap aside. We are really excited! We’re hoping to take our gardening to the next level and we think this is going to help us.

Over the years we Watsons have said things. Weird things. Funny things. Things with expletives. That’s not so unusual. What is maybe (I’m not sure) unusual is some of the things we’ve said over the years have come to be favorite phrases that we quote pretty regularly. Here, in no particular order, and without any back story are some of the Wats-Co classics…

-Pass the Cinnamon Oat Crunch pleeeease.

-Green arrow, baby!

-She was a twin I think, but I only hung out with the one of her.

-If it makes you feel any better, we could be doing so much better than we are.

- Punch P.T.C cruiser, Punch P.O.S., Punch red truck red.

- Just push past the pain.

- I like my burgers better with onion in it.

- I’m gonna have to take your garlic bread back.

-Fuck me up the ass-balls. (only we elders say this one currently)

- Tuuurtletuuurtletuurtle.

I can’t think of any more right now, but I feel certain there are- more. Well, at least we’ll make more. Of that, I am sure.
