As all the public schoolers in the area are back to school today, we “keep up with them Jones’s” and sit down to some real school type learning. Biology. Algebra. History. Guitar. Art. Dish Washing. Facebooking. Cosmetology. Lego-ology. Technology. Sandwich making. Reading. Joke-making. Phone answering. Kittenology. Sewing. Teethbrushing. Flossing. Vitamin taking. Spelling. Email writing. Pool skimming. Chocolate chip cookie eating. Book reading.

Oh yeah…back to school makes the weather turn colder and the mothers think of Halloween and apples. I don’t make the rules….I just follow them. Okay, the weather hasn’t turned colder, but it will soon. I hope.

Brian and I put together our raised garden boxes today. This week we’ll loosen the soil and add manure compost and more topsoil. This is hopefully the start of our first for-real sucessful garden. I can’t Wait to see what comes out of our ground.

Side-gardening note*
The butterfly plants we got at the museum last week are all planted and doing well. I look forward to seeing some butterflies someday.

have a beautiful weekend!

As the rest of the world prepares to go back to school, we here at Wats-Co just keep learning. We actually never stop. Even when we aren’t trying- we’re learning. We like our life that way. Well sometimes we do try, and one of our new favorite ways to learn is through a The Khan Academy . In the picture above Danny is cozy on the couch watching a Khan video. After which he uses the ipad drawing app. to write out math problems and solve them. This is funducawesome- that’s fun-education awesome. Of course, we also like to take advantage of the back to school sales buying up all the crayons and markers and pencils we need for the year. Who doesn’t?

This post is being written from my iPad!!!!!! Oh the awesomeness is too much. I might never need a computer again. (don’t quote me on that) Now I just need to figure out how to post pictures from it. The will be ultra-awesome!

Super friggin' McAdorable McAweseom McKitty

We’ve come to an end of our King and I journey. It ended with smiles, tears, scented soap, silly bands and perhaps a few new friends. What a fun time. I’m relieved (like giving birth to a beautiful baby) it’s over, but I know (hope) there will be more shows.
